Group interviews
The professions represented in the group interviews were care specialist (FaBe), healthcare specialist (FaGe), IT specialist, logistics specialist, cook, commercial clerk (KV), retail specialist, electrician and medical practice assistant (MPA).
Expert interviews
11 expert interviews were conducted with employees from various cantons who are/have been involved in the training of apprentices.
Firm survey
The company survey is due to start in the near future. A questionnaire on the training processes in companies has been compiled and will be sent to various companies.
The questionnaire is aimed at employees who were involved in the training of apprentices in various apprenticeship professions before, during and after the pandemic (March 2020-April 2022) and afterwards.
LABB data analysis and Yousty apprenticeship market
The LABB data shows register-based data from the FSO on participation in education in Switzerland, while Yousty is an online apprenticeship platform with data on search queries by apprenticeship type. These two platforms are used to collect data on an ongoing basis.
